Singar Jagadeesan, MD, Medical Director:


After completing medical school, Dr. Jagadeesan completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Lincoln Medical Center, New York Medical College. He completed his residency in Neurology at New York University Medical Center and did his fellowship in EEG, Epilepsy at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Albert Einstein School of Medicine in New York.

He is now Board Certified in Neurology and Sleep Medicine by the ABPN, ABSM and ABIM. He has been actively involved in the diagnosis and treatment of Neurological Disorders for more than 11 years, and sleep disorders for 9 years. Dr. Jagadeesan practices at Wake Neurology in Cary and Raleigh.

Dr. Jagadeesan practices conventional medicine but also understands the importance of lifestyle modification with proper diet, exercise and how carefully selected natural therapies can enhance the efficacy of the pharmaceuticals and conventional care. He is passionate about bridging the gap between natural and conventional medicine.

Jonathan Flescher, MD, Associate Medical Director:


Dr. Flescher is a native of the New York City metropolitan area, having started his medical training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY. He then went on to complete his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Bellevue Hospital and New York University Medical Center.

Dr. Flescher remained at NYU for his Pulmonary Medicine fellowship, which included training in sleep disordered breathing. He achieved Board Certification in the areas of Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Flescher moved to Raleigh in 1991 to join Wake Internal Medicine Consultants. Since 1991, his practice has included the diagnosis and treatment of sleep apnea, and other sleep disorders.
